Brussels entrepreneurs launch Belgium’s first home beauty and wellness services app

SweetNest connects customers with beauty and wellness professionals via a reliable platform. A first in Belgium.

People with a busy schedule often struggle to find time for themselves. The Brussels-based startup SweetNest wants to remedy this by connecting consumers directly with beauty and wellness professionals. Thanks to the app of the same name, users can easily have beauty and wellness services delivered to their homes. This means considerable comfort and time savings for both the customer and the professional.

Time for yourself at home

People with busy schedules often have to juggle work, sport, friends and family. Taking time for oneself is therefore often at the bottom of the priority list. The startup SweetNest wants to remedy this by putting these active people directly in touch with health and wellness professionals. Thanks to the app of the same name, users can easily have beauty and wellness services delivered to their homes. This offers considerable convenience and time savings for both the client and the professional.

Do you have a sore back, but don’t have time to go to the chiropractor? Want a relaxing massage in front of the television? Or need a quick haircut after the kids go to bed? With just a few clicks in the SweetNest app, you can have a professional come to your home at a time that suits you best. You can finally take some time for yourself at home. Moreover, thanks to the selection and rating system, the quality and safety of the platform are guaranteed at all times.

Unburden the professional

SweetNest aims to be a collaborative and local platform where beauty and wellness professionals and active people can easily meet. Billing and administration are handled automatically and transparently by the startup. The search for new customers is also taken care of. Beauty and wellness professionals can therefore work with complete peace of mind and practice their profession without any constraints. Thanks to SweetNest, local entrepreneurs, who are often in the starting phase, have the necessary tools to quickly develop their own business.

Wellbeing at work

In addition to beauty and wellness services at home, SweetNest also offers a B2B formula. The start-up gives employers the opportunity to offer their employees a moment of relaxation and well-being at work. A group yoga session during the lunch break? A healthy head massage at the end of a busy day? Employers can easily organise this with SweetNest.

Passionate Brussels entrepreneurs

SweetNest was conceived in 2020 when Marcus, Nicolas and Charles-Frédéric, all three from Brussels, were looking for a creative solution to help beauty and wellness professionals find new customers in between lockdowns. The entrepreneurs organised a first round of investment last year from friends and family. Since then, the app has some 2,000 users in Brussels for about 50 professionals.

Marcus and Nicolas are not newcomers, however. In 2009, Marcus founded AppSolution, the first mobile development agency in Belgium, which he sold in 2013. Marcus then founded HR-Tech Butterfly.ai in the United States, which he left to return to Belgium. Marcus and Nicolas finally launched Jaywalk.co in 2015, a marketing and development agency based in Brussels.

At SweetNest you pay, for example, €32.9 for a men’s haircut, €26.9 for a manicure or €75 for a 50-minute anti-stress massage. SweetNest is currently available in and around the Brussels area. The startup plans to expand to other Belgian cities soon.
